Chamber Groups
What is a Chamber Group?
Chamber groups are groups of musicians who play music together. String trios, string quartets, and string quintets are examples of common chamber groups.
During Chamber Music classes, students will have the opportunity to work as a team to play a piece of music with consistent style and a good balance between parts. They will utilize nonverbal communication and listening across the ensemble to play together.
Chamber groups are also an excellent way to build and develop friendships. Playing music together and being able to make mistakes without judgement helps to build a bond and a level of comfort that is unique to chamber music. It's fun and a great way to experience music and friendship in the same setting.
Chamber Music Studio Policy
Below is my Chamber Group Music Policy for every student. I will have a paper copy for review at each student's first lesson. It must be read and the signature page must be signed by the start of the following lesson.
